WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US.

I recently joined the introductory course at this club and had a fantastic experience. I actually missed a week due to an old injury that occurred outside the gym,
but Coach Karl Norton was incredibly helpful and gave me specific tips … More on how to heal and recover safely. The environment is so welcoming and supportive that I’ve decided to stay on for the ongoing fundamentals classes and to build strength and confidence. The coaches really look after their members and make sure you're training safely. Highly recommend Clinch BJJ & MMA for anyone starting out! 😊🥊🥋

Our little guy was super excited about joining and was ecstatic when he got the opportunity to start attending classes. It was easy to register and the owner was great with communication and walking me through getting him registered. … More The classes were great, everyone young and old was very disciplined in helping him with the new skills and the instructors gave clear instructions to support learning skills and safety. He enjoyed his first session and wouldn't stop talking about it! Thanks Clinch for a fabulous welcome into the family for our little guy! He's ready for session 3!

The experience(s) from start and continue to throughout is exceptionally excellent. Coaches are on point with knowledge passed onto our young children/students to gain confidence, and put to practice self defense, receiving positive life … More long lessons, strengthened physically, mentally & spiritually having fun all in one, I must say we're very blessed, grateful to be a part of this team, training here in the heart of our home town Mangere 275, at Clinch BJJ, Akl Nz. Many thanks to the owner (Karl Norton) for giving us this opportunity, enabling us to come together to train in an awesome environment and given the chance to train in the atmosphere of fantastic coaches! Much love, support and many blessings from Susana, Athena and myself.

Amazing gym! I'm new to BJJ and was blown away by how great the coaches are at breaking down techniques for every beginner to be able to grasp. End up leaving every session feeling as though I've understood and learnt something … More new.
Extremely welcoming community! Everyone has been great to roll with and learn alongside, all super encouraging!
10/10 best decision I've made! Just start and join a great group of people.

Did a drop-in for the Sun kickboxing class and really enjoyed it. The Coach was great at breaking down the skills, and correcting technique. The members were very humble and down to earth. The facility is super clean and they have all … More gear there in shop for newbies. If you're passing through on way to airport , cannot recommend this place enough for a drop-in. If you live in surrounding areas (You're lucky )This is the place to join if you are looking for Kickboxing, BJJ, Self Defence or just plain fitness. Big Thank you to the Coach and I will definitely be dropping in again. 🙇‍♂️

Awesome gym. Great coaches and team atmosphere. Started out 180kgs with all sorts of health issues looking for a way out of the slump. Clinch was a good place to challenge myself fitness wise/ mental wise while learning martial arts. As … More challenging as each day is , it gets better and better as you go. After 30kgs down and to 150kgs and brighter outlook and determination built during time at ClINCH Sadly departing the gym due to family relocation. So if you're looking for a challenge , new start, something new, martial arts give CLINCH A GO.
